Went Fishing

I should have ended that last post with:
"What a great way to begin summer!"

Because, oops,  here we are a month later, fairly roasting and melting in the cool blue north.
This was a few weeks ago at Shiny Pond on the farm where Decadent Housewife grew up.

Someone forgot paddles but remembered a trolling motor.  Too hot to paddle - but not too hot for a campfire.
And not too hot for tickles and giggles.

And never too hot for watermelon...

 and fishing,

and fishing,

and more fishing.
Speedy caught the biggest fish.

Baby Violinist II fishing with his Daddy.

And, Fun, with a fish he caught.
