Music to My Ears

Winter is having a hard time letting go this spring.  This was on the morning drive through "Town" to Violinist and Roll Kuchen's house.  Rain and cold and wind, more the variety of late October kept Decadent Housewife inside all day with the baby Violinists.  Something I did not mind, as we got to read, build stuff, read, sculpt, dance and cuddle up to read some more.  The rain took a soporific effect upon the baby Violinists as they slept the entire afternoon,  while I did what rain always prompts in me, hum and write poetry.

Great photo! Did you know, Leamington used to be called Wilkinson's Corner (named after that very corner)? I'm a Wilkinson on my paternal grandmother's side.

Thanks, Dave. Yes, I did know that. (No Wilkinson in my lines.) I've been thinking of doing some little history snapshots of the area. This just happened while waiting for the light to change.

Just when I feel that spring is here, we've been given warning that a snowstorm is approaching us with 10 to 15 cm of snow. That's almost 6 inches of snow. I hope that it will melt as quickly as it came.

I had planned on raking the front lawn this weekend so I'll stay indoors also.

Oh, Julia, we just missed the snow and ice - it went to the north and east of us. Looking at the radar, I'm afraid you are going to get it though. Stay warm!
