I wish there were more Dough Boys around here - ones who do more than (as some observant readers have pointed out) display his politically correct girth from the bookshelf.A maid would be nice too.
But I am very thankful for the Kitchen Aid.
(Early 20th century Christmas card found in family papers.)

Thank you for the card, I must post one soon. I don't know what DoughBoys are or what a Kitchen Aid is but I wish you a very happy Christmas.
Oh - what would we do without our KitchenAid? Thanks for the Christmas card.
KitchenAid yes, in stainless steel or pink if I was feeling girly.
DoughBoy, is it PC these days?
I'd love a housekeeper and maybe a kindle.Happy Christmas!
Wonderful card;) And now I need to go bake....
Glad you're enjoying your new Kitchen Aid. My two favourite kitchen items are a Cuisinart food processer which I was given many years ago and an old enameled cast iron LaCruset roasting pan. They always put me in mind of something said by the late Gladys Taber.
In own of her many wonderful books, Mrs. Taber opined that money was much better spent on good appliances than on hired help. The appliances never had fights with their boyfriends, or came down with the 'flu at a crucial time!
