Account of Decadent Housewife who grew up a farm girl, hums opera, married a geek and lives in a houseful of men, none of whom ever have clean socks or underwear.
Imagine. If the Beatles were Canadian, they may have written something about cornfields not strawberries. And no, those are not spots on Decadent's camera lens, those are crows. Really. They really are. Cornfields. Crows. They go together.
What a beautiful shot! I could eat a fresh ear of corn right now. Yum! We don't have many corn fields around here (at least, not that big), but we have lots of crows -- really big ones. In Japan we associate crows with garbage, and rice fields!
I am Decadent Housewife.
I live in the country.
I hum opera in the kitchen.
Welcome to my life.
It involves men. Speedy, Violinist, Fun, Buff and Geek Guy aka GG - four twenty-somethings and one husband - ah yes, and, The Baby Violinists.

God bless our land and its people
I love the abundance of fresh grown produce.
We are so very lucky indeed.
Love all you share.
Love you ♥
Oh that shot is glorious!
Well it's strawberry season here in our district. don't here any of the pickers singing The beatles though LOL!!
the corn looks healthy and is growing well. I had a couple of crows following me around when I was cutting the field today.

We have cornfields too -- quite small ones :)
And the corn is short...because it has rained EVERY SINGLE DAY for five weeks -- except the WEDDING WEEKEND!!! Can you believe it?
